HOW TO SHOW YOUR SNAP SOME LOVE
Snaps contain precious metals and other premium details that may need special care. Most rules that apply to jewelry will also work for your Snap.
GOLD AND PLATINUM
Non-abrasive cleaners are good with most gold and platinum Snaps. Bleach of any kind will discolor or possibly disintegrate gold.
Silver’s pretty easy, it just needs to be cleaned from time to time. After using a silver jewelry cleaner, rinse thoroughly in warm water and dry it carefully. This ensures your silver keeps shining like new and doesn’t collect tarnish or dullness.
When you received your Snap, it came in a protective box, case or tarnish-resistant pouch. We recommend you keep them there when they’re not being worn.
SNAPS WITH WOOD INSETS
The wood in Snaps is all natural with no coating. To clean a Snap that contains wood, use a standard polishing cloth. The wood itself should be maintained with a pure beeswax polishing compound. Don’t apply a silver cleaner to the wood or any stones- it doesn’t go over well. To prevent wood from cracking, do not store in a humid or very dry area.
